We don’t play a tonne of gigs, so playing two in a weekend was pretty much our equivalent of going on a world tour.
We started in Rainham, Kent on Friday night, our second time playing in Medway and feeling the love of the brilliant Medway music scene.
With an audience full of musicians (no pressure!) and music enthusiasts we opened the night with an up-tempo set, kicking off with Say Nothing and ending with a special extended version of Don’t Lie To Me.
The audience were super generous and we were really honoured that the other bands on the bill, Jetstream Pony and Fightmilk took the time to watch us too. They were both ace by the way.
Saturday was totally different, back in Sussex in a brewery in Haywards Heath which we’ve always thought would make a good venue so this was their first “gig”. The weather was terrible that night and we were amazed that anyone turned up! Luckily some very lovely people did and we played a fun set which included some extras like Closer Than Comfort and a new song tentatively titled End of the Rainbow.
